Dr. Eleanor is a native of San Antonio Texas, but currently resides in Amarillo Texas. She accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior at the age of five and immediately answered the call to music ministry. At an early age she began to sing Gospel Music under the guidance of her mother, Music Instructor, Vernie Mae Daniels-Biser. Dr. Eleanor is married to Bishop Richard Murray where they partner in pastoring the church, New Light Ministries Amarillo. She is also the mother of two lovely and talented daughters Teresa and Kimberly.
Dr. Eleanor was ordained as Pastor of the New Light Ministries Amarillo in 1985. She received her Missionary and Evangelist Licenses in 1990 and was ordained pastor by Bishop T.D. Jakes of Dallas International Pastors Association. She later attended the Logos Christian College where she received her Masters and Doctoral Degree in Theology, graduating Cum Laude. Since retiring from the public education system,she has dedicated her time to writing books and studying God's Word. Along with her other services for the Kingdom of God, she is the coordinator and administrator for the New Light Education Department, holding a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Education from Prairie View A&M University. She acquired additional certifications from North Texas State University, graduating with honors.
Dr. Eleanor believes that God's people need healing, restoration, comfort and exhortation. She has devoted her life to teaching and demonstrating Praise and Worship, providing dynamic methods and practical teachings on how to evoke the Presence of God. Through her gift to teach the Word of God and guide others, she continues to seek God's face, hear His voice and abide under His covering. Dr. Eleanor ministers to people across the world so that God's Kingdom is edified.
